Are you an OTS Member?

OTS welcomes you to register into your professional society as an Associate member. Associate membership is open to residents, fellows or graduate students undertaking studies in the medical or allied helath sciences, or fellows during their period training. Associate members are not required to pay dues, and may not vote or hold office, but otherwise enjoy all the priveleges of membership in the Society.

The Cameron C. Gray Respirology Clinical Fellowship 



The Ontario Thoracic Society welcomes applications from 2nd year Respirology residents for the Dr Cameron C Gray Award. An award that honours the legacy of a remarkable man who  contributed enormously to the science and humanity of Respiratory Medicine both here in Ontario and in North America through his abilities as a teacher, administrator and physician. Eligibility criteria:

  1. Each university with a Respirology training program may submit an application on behalf of one candidate in their final year of clinical training.
  2. Recipients must be enrolled in an Ontario Residency Program in Respirology which has been approved by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Residents in their final year of clinical training are eligible.
  3. The award will allow for a 3rd year Fellowship year with no more than 50% of the candidates’ time to be spent in clinical respiratory research activities.  Laboratory based (basic) research will not be permitted.
  4. Applicants must be planning to establish a respirology practice in Ontario.
