steeltown Firefighter stairClimb - Stair to care

February 4, 2017 - Civilians are invited to join firefighters, police and paramedics for this unique stair climb up the 533 steps of 100 King Street West in Hamilton, Ontairo. Firefighters are challenged to do the climb in full gear, on air, which will be quite the sight to be seen! Check out all the competition categories for civilians and EMS professionals and join us in this exciting fundraiser for the Ontairo Lung Association.

Phyllis Gretzky Golf Tournament

June 8, 2016 -  Hosted at the beautiful Willow Valley Golf & Country Club in Mount Hope. Join Walter Gretzky for the day of golf and fun!

June 3 - 5, 2016 - This year will mark the 10th annual Walter Gretzky Street Hockey Tournament with teams coming from across Ontario and the United States. In 2010, this “great” tournament was recognized and established a Guinness World Record for the largest Ball Hockey Tournament in the world with 210 teams with just over 2,300 participants. Be one of 250 teams in 2014 playing on 20 outdoor rinks, officiated by certified referees and linesmen from BHI.

August 15, 2015 - The Lung Association is happy to announce that Brantford Day at the Blue Jays will take place on Saturday August 15th 2015 against the Yankees, for the first pitch at 1:07PM …… Tickets are in section 129, third base line….tickets are $60.00 each or $75.00 with return transportation. We only have 100 tickets, so place your order early!

Stair to care

September 19, 2015 - Join us for the first ever game day, in stadium stair climb at the Ti-Cats new home - Tim Horton's Field. This new community based event is designed to incrase awareness of breathing and physical acitivity for everyone, including children with asthma. Participants will enjoy an exclusive tailgate party including photo-ops with Ti-Cat alumni before they head to the stands to enjoy a game against the Edmonton Esimoks.

Will Campaign 

A partnership between The Lung Association, local lawyers and law firms, run The Will Campaign throughout the year at the lawyer’s availability. All the proceeds from The Will Campaign benefit The Lung Association’s medical research and community health programs right in your community. Basic wills are $100 and power of attorny are $50 (two types of POA available, personal care and continuing property). These reduced fees are based on one hour of service. Additional time for complex services may be charged to the client at the lawyers regular rate. 100% of proceeds benefit The Lung Association.

Fun Dress Up/Down Days for Lungs

To help celebrate Halloween, Christmas Holiday Season, Valentines Day & Canada Day we host Dress Easy to Breathe Easy & Dress Red Days, where we ask locals colleges, schools and businesses to either dress down or dress red and donate toonies/loonies for Lung Research.
